Mission Statement:

We aim to give our members the opportunity to enjoy their recreation time, making their own decisions and being free to do what they want in a safe, fun and happy environment.

North Wilts Holiday Club for Children & Young People with Special Needs provides fun and accessible summer activities and outings for young people with special needs during the summer holidays.

We are supported by lots of clubs, businesses and volunteers in North Wiltshire and we would like to thank everyone who supported our Summer 2011 activities. Although it is becoming more difficult to secure funding from big charity funds, local Lions clubs and other organisations have helped out and with the support of the local community they made even bigger contributions towards our activities this year.

Our members have high individual support needs and they miss out on a lot of the fun holiday experiences that most children take for granted. We need a 1:1 staff ratio to support members in their choice of activities, and our excellent team of qualified and experienced staff are supported by volunteers. Our organisation is a registered charity run by volunteers and funded by grants and donations. We are a non profit making organisation. Volunteers do all of our fund raising and charity adminstration enabling us to spend around 95% of our income directly on our charitable activities. Place numbers are strictly limited and we will not be able to accept any new members for summer 2010. If you are interested in a place for a young person with special needs (aged 4 - young adults) please contact us to join our waiting list.
